    In the era of digital transformation,

    The Huawei Modular Data Center 5.0 @ SmartLi inside greatly simplifies equipment room construction.
    Indeed, the solution radically reduces traditional location requirements for equipment rooms — from floor
    height to total area and load bearing capacity — effectively shortening site inspection times and related costs.

    Put simply, any room can now be made a data center.

    With far lower requirements placed on net height, the Huawei Modular Data Center 5.0 is equipped with
    in-row air-conditioners, where pipes and power and signaling cables are all routed from the top.
    As a result, there is no need for a traditional raised floor design, meaning that equipment can be accommodated
    in ceiling heights as low as 2.6 m, far below the 3 m minimum required by a traditional data center.

    Similarly, load bearing requirements are slashed, the load-bearing requirement of SmartLi UPS falls below 1000 kg/m2,
    meeting the load-bearing requirements for T3 and T4 data centers in TIA942. And, by sharing the same load-bearing
    requirements as data center equipment, the UPS can also share the same space.

    Doing away with the need to have a separate power room represents a big saving on space. This high-density solution
    saves more than 75% of required battery space, compared with lead-acid batteries. And that means more revenue
    generating IT cabinets can be deployed instead.
